2007-08 Goals

Plans

Challenges/Needs

Continue to provide self-funded activities for parish community

  • LaComedia Dinner/Play—West Side Story May 17th

  • Red’s Family Outing--TBD

  • Fall Harvest Fest—TBD

  • Self-funding—budget difficult to predict—shortfall becomes personal debt

  • Late additions/deletions from an activity (parishioners want refunds or be added requiring the need to order extra tickets/food/ transportation) LaComedia--we took reservations and payments upfront, communicating no refunds.

Increase volunteer base

  • Contact those interested in Community Life (Parish Picnic)expressed through Stewardship/New Members

  • Personally invited others within Parish to join Community Life (method used for initial team)

  • Have contacted all individuals who expressed interest and have found the number to be much smaller once contacted.

  • Will continue to contact individuals who express interest through Stewardship/New Parishioner.

New leadership for the Commission

  • Megan Mull has stepped up and will work as a team with Cheryl Fry to lead the Commission.

  • Megan and Cheryl will meet with the team on 5/19 to discuss upcoming events for Summer/Fall.
